Last Weekend I had a pleasure of visiting Chanel Mademoiselle Privé exhibition in Saatchi, London and I couldn't be happier! Haha, I had two attempts of entering the gallery as the crazy, crazy Chanel fans were in a queue few blocks long! We would stand there for hours so I deciced we will come back in the morning. 
The next morning a queue was as long as it was yesterday. Chic ladies with their chanel bags, wearing long luxurous coats, waiting for the gallery to open.. They obviously loved Chanel.

After getting to the gardens of Saatchi, you could hear the birds singing, chic gentlemen waiting with the black Chanel umbrellas in case it was going to rain. They told us to download the Mademoiselle Privé apps as the exhibition was very interactive.

The first room looked like the Chanel Rue Cambon store, the boutique Coco Chanel opened in 1910. <Chanel Rue Cambon Stairs> When you put the phone directly to the door ( the ones at the second  picture), it opened, showing the Gabrielle Chanel talking and working at her atelier. You could see the moving shadows of her at the walls and fabrics.

Between the luxurious tweed and other fabrics hanging from the walls and creating curtains, you could find the Chanel treasures (like the chains from their bags).

Gardens smelled like a dream! Pictures were printed at the hand-made paper, haute couture dresses were highligted from the inside so you could the the every detail of it.

The whole exhibition showed the magic of Chanel and I'm sure all the ladies who left it wanted to own something from Chanel even more. If you ever, ever get a chance to see a Chanel exhibition- I highly reccomend it. It was just perfect!


W ostatni weekend miałam ogromną przyjemność odwiedzić wystawę Chanel "Mademoiselle Privé" w galerii Saatchi w Londynie. Haha, żeby było śmieszniej, miałam dwa podejścia do odwiedzenia galerii. Szalone fanki Chanel stały w kolejce długiej na kilka ulic (dosłownie!). Stalibyśmy tam godzinami, wiec zdecydowałam się wrócić tu następnego dnia rano. Ułożyłam włosy, usta pomalowałam czerwoną szminką i byłam gotowa zawalczyć o miejsce w kolejce:) Czy była mniejsza? Ani trochę. Pokusiłabym się nawet o stwierdzenie, że była dłuższa! Szykowne kobiety z torebkami Chanel, w długich, luksusowych płaszczach, czekające na otwarcie galerii... zdecydowanie zakochane po uszy w tej marce:)

Kiedy udało już się nam wejść na teren ogrodów Saatchi, usłyszeć można było melodycznie świerkające ptaszki, zobaczyć mężczyzn ubranych w elegancką czerń, czekających z parasolkami na wypadek gdyby miało zacząć padać. Jeden z panów powiedział nam, żeby ściągnąć specjalnie zaprojektowaną aplikację, bo wystawa jest interaktywna.

Pierwszy pokój wyglądał jak butik Chanel na Rue Cambon w Paryżu, otwarty przez Mademoiselle Chanel w 1910 roku. Gdy przeciągnęło się telefon w stronę drzwi (przedstawione  na drugim zdjęciu), otwierały się, a w środku można było zobaczyć projektantkę rozmawiającą i pracującą w swoim atelier. Na ścianach i kotarach z luksusowych materiałów pojawiały się cienie pracującej Coco.

Pomiędzy zasłonami z tweedu odnaleźć można było skarby Chanel, jak te łańcuszki używane do ikonicznych torebek marki.

Ogrody pachniały jak marzenie, zdjęcia wydrukowane były na ręcznie robionym papierze, sukienki haute couture oświetlone były od wewnątrz by zobaczyć każdy ich detal...

Cała wystawa ukazywała magię Chanel i jestem pewna, że wszystkie kobiety, które odwiedziły to miejsce zapragnęły tej marki w swojej garderobie jeszcze bardziej!

Jeśli kiedykolwiek będziecie mieli szansę odwiedzić wystawę Chanel, zróbcie to koniecznie! Warto!
